'Amazing find' in Kirk Michael
A 10,000 year-old giant deer skeleton has been found in Kirk Michael.
Sharp-eyed members of the public discovered the bones from the prehistoric deer and reported it to the Manx Museum.
They were recovered from the shore on the west coast and are now being analysed.
Curator of natural history, Laura McCoy, says it’s an amazing find.
