Claire Christian retires from position on Monday
The Mayor of Douglas has presented President of Tynwald Clare Christian OBE with an engraved heraldic shield to mark her forthcoming retirement.
Paying tribute, Councillor John Skinner said Mrs Christian had served 'with honour and integrity'.
In her reply Madam President said it was always 'an honour and a privilege' to be received at the town hall.
