
Chief Minister Allan Bell says Isle of Man Newspapers is sending out mixed signals by urging people to support the Island but closing its printing press here.
This morning in Tynwald (Tuesday), he faced questions from Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan about the decision, announced last month.
Mr Bell said it was a commercial move and there was little the government could do about it.
But he said moving printing over to the UK seemed to contradict the company’s local message.
