A pressure group campaigning against plans for a wind farm in the south of the Island is calling for all work on the Cair Vie project to be halted immediately.
Cair Vie Resistance says the scheme should be paused and the projected energy output re-assessed.
It follows a French court ruling where EDF Renewables - the company behind the project - was fined 500,000 euros after 160 protected birds and bats were killed at a wind farm in Aumelas.
