Manx Tenants' Union plans to lobby government
A new pressure group says tenants on the Isle of Man need to have their rights better protected.
The Manx Tenants' Union is aiming to lobby the government to make improvements.
They say the Island is one of the very few places in Western Europe that doesn't protect the deposits of those renting a property.
Member Devon Watson told Manx Radio a number of people have already approached them for help:
"It's such a devastating thing to go through hair loss... I felt very, very alone"
