A group of Manx schoolchildren have taken it upon themselves to help save one of the world's most important ecosystems.
A visit to the Wildlife Park inspired pupils at Willaston Primary School to try and buy a section of Brazilian rainforest to protect it from deforestation.
The year three and four youngsters raised the funds they needed by running a cafe, selling home-made cakes and drinks to their parents and other invited guests.
