Parents in the Isle of Man are being told this week about the outcome of a review of local primary schools.
The Self-Review and Evaluation process has considered what they do well and where they need to take action to improve.
Murray's Road, St Mary's, Ballacloan, Marown and Kewaigue are the schools involved.
The work involves an external validator and a department of education adviser working with headteachers.
Deputy director of education Stuart Dobson (pictured) explains how the validation works (play attached audio file):
Chamber: Positive Moneyval assessment vital for Island's future
Prostate cancer pathway available despite lack of screening
More than 200 residential planning applications granted permission but work yet to commence
Aviation safety audit will be 'completely independent'
