Joint operation between prison officers and IoM Constabulary
People visiting the Isle of Man Prison were stopped and searched for contraband yesterday (22 June).
It was part of a joint operation between police and staff at the Jurby facility.
The visitors, and their vehicles, were searched by officers and police dogs.
No contraband was located.
The Isle of Man Constabulary says similar operations are planned over the coming months.
