The chief minister says his administration's aims will be closely monitored and reviewed, as it strives to achieve a series of deadlines and benchmarks which have been set.
Howard Quayle was speaking after Tynwald unanimously approved the Programme for Government yesterday.
The document contains both broad and detailed objectives, and notes those responsible for them.
Mr Quayle says government's progress will be laid out for all to see, via a performance framework which has been set up:
