
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was left needing hospital treatment for a head injury in a fight on Douglas promenade.
The Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team say a disturbance took place at the entrance to a building in Palace Terrace on Queens Promenade early on Saturday morning.
They say just before midnight, a group of six or seven were involved in an altercation - five men have been arrested and are assisting police with enquiries.
