Work will stop over Christmas
Work on Douglas Promenade will still be ongoing in March next year.
That's the admission from the infrastructure minister who has warned completion is still someway off.
Tim Crookall has told Manx Radio work will stop over Christmas.
He's also confirmed he will go back to Tynwald for funding to complete the horse tram tracks.
However he says finalising a date for that work is like putting 'a finger in the wind'.
