
The early stages of a £1.6million project to revamp the capital's promenade begins today.
The first part of the works focuses on the area around the Sea Terminal and it's expected to take up to 38 weeks to be completed.
The plan is to improve the pavements, pedestrian crossings, road layout and flower beds in the area.
Leading the Department of Infrastructure work is Derek Sewell - he hopes it will make the main entry point to the Island more welcoming:
