The consultation period for plans to give Douglas promenade a major face lift is ending today (Friday).
The proposal centres on carriageway strengthening and reconstruction, with associated issues such as the positioning of the horse tram tracks, footways and cycleways.
It's thought such an undertaking would take several years to complete.
Minister for Infrastructure Phil Gawne hopes the work will be the catalyst for the overall regeneration of Douglas.
An issues and options document relating to proposals is available from the chief secretary's Office, libraries and offices of local authorities.
