Harmer confident prom work will start soon
Plans for the horse tram service can't be made in isolation when it comes to the regeneration of Douglas promenade.
That's the belief of the man in charge of the plans: Infrastucture Minister Ray Harmer.
His proposals to reduce the length of the tramway to between Broadway and Summerhill were narrowly defeated in the Tynwald chamber yesterday.
Despite that, Mr Harmer believes decisive action is finally on the horizon.
Friday evening sailings subject to possible disruption or cancellation
More services to be temporarily relocated from Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital
Warning in place for coastal overtopping
