St John Ambulance offering treatment and advice at fireworks displays
Prompt first aid can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.
That's the message from St John Ambulance Isle of Man during firework season.
The charity warns burns from holding sparklers and eye injuries from looking up at fireworks are the most common injuries sustained around Guy Fawkes night.
Volunteers from St John Ambulance will be on duty at displays around the Island offering first aid and advice.
