The Isle of Man's property market remains stagnant, according to a director of local estate agent Black Grace Cowley.
Nick Cooper was speaking after figures showed the United Kingdom could be a nation of renters within a generation.
UK property values are expected to start rising later this year, but 64 per cent of people surveyed felt they had no chance of ever owning their own property.
Mr Cooper says it will be some time before prices recover in the Isle of Man:
Residents still want to see what wind farm will look like
Construction costs on the Island 18% above UK average and comparable with Outer London
Manx residents 'will probably need to pay more' if they want universal health service
Apartment building planned for Douglas City Centre
