He wants to see more of the facilities in the town utilised
A candidate in the upcoming Port St Mary by-election says he would like to see the facilities utilised more for events.
James Helps is standing for the vacant commissioners seat and is calling for better communication between board members and residents.
Voting takes place at Port St Mary Town Hall from 8am until 8pm, on Thursday 18 April and those applying for a proxy vote have until 17 April at 5pm.
Mr Helps says he was motivated to stand as a commissioner so residents have a choice.
