Yesterday evening was a long one for the crew of Port St Mary lifeboat.
They had to help an 87ft trawler with six people on board after one of its nets became struck on its propeller.
The vessel was 21 miles south-west of the village when the crew was called out at 5.42pm.
She was towed back into Port St Mary, arriving at 10.32pm.
