A sweep of Douglas pubs by uniformed police and a sniffer dog on Friday night resulted in three arrests and one man being subsequently charged for possession.
Members of the licenced trade are keen to spread the word that drugs are not welcome on their premises, and this operation, involving the Douglas CID, Police Dog Section and the Alcohol Unit, was in part a response to public concerns about drug misuse.
