UK sees rise in expectant mothers with Covid needing hospital treatment
The Island's director of public health is urging more pregnant women to have a Covid vaccine.
Reports in the UK show a rise in the number of expectant mothers needing hospital treatment after contracting the virus.
Current advice from the JCVI is that pregnant women should be offered the vaccine at the same time as those in the same age group.
