Efforts underway to increase women taking up careers in sector
People are being encouraged to vote for a Manx not-for-profit organisation which is up for a regional award.
Isle of Man Maritime has been shortlisted for 'Campaign of the Year' at this year's Mersey Maritime Industry Awards which will take place 25 October.

The nomination recognises ongoing initiatives aimed at encouraging women and young people to take up careers in maritime.
General Manager Captain Lee Clarke and director Lesley-Anne Walker told Manx Radio although the industry has a 'long way to go' initiatives here are still setting the precedent globally:
