Union members and public urged to attend
A public meeting tonight will discuss the future of public sector pensions – and a union leader’s urging members to go along to find out more (23 May).
The Public Sector Pensions Authority has called the gathering, which takes place at the Manx Museum’s lecture theatre from 7.30pm.
Eric Holmes from the TUC says the issue is a vital one for the government, its employees and the wider Manx public.
He’s welcomed the opportunity to talk frankly about the issue, and says it’ll be an opportunity for workers and the public to have their questions answered:
Man had 'sweetie shop' of drugs disguised as a candle
'Power of veto' might help get difficult decisions through, says chief minister
Gas prices to remain unchanged for 2026
Ramsey Commissioners not adding 'optional' one percent increase to social housing rents
