Island of Culture 2014 will be a celebration for the whole Island.
That’s the view of the event director Michael Lees as plans continue for a year-long series of events to celebrate excellence, identity and community.
The chief minister has already appealed to the private sector to get behind the initiative.
Mr Lees says the Manx public needs to embrace it:
