Public warning sirens to be tested

Routine performance check

Don't be alarmed if you hear a loud noise shortly.

Public warning sirens will be sounded across the Island this morning at 11am.

Routine testing of the public defence system takes place every three months.

All sirens, with the exception of one on the Spring Valley industrial estate, will be tested, sounding a steady note for 15 seconds.
