Awareness campaign on "rarest day of the year"
Manx Utilities is joining in with global efforts to mark World Rare Disease Day, which is today.
On the campaign's website, it says "the rarest day of the year is dedicated to raising awareness for people living with a rare disease."
The rare disease community and its supporters come together today to share the message: "Rare is many. Rare is strong. Rare is proud!"
The group calls for equal access to social opportunity, treatment and care for the 300 million people living with a rare disease and their families around the world.
Keep your eyes peeled this evening, as Pulrose Power Station will be illuminated in blue, to help raise awareness of the event today.
