Manx Care seeking more applicants for nursing programme
The best way to solve a shortage of nurses on the Island is to ‘grow our own heroes’.
That's the view of Manx Care - the health body is urging prospective nurses to consider local training opportunities.
It’s holding an open evening next month, on 7 December, to showcase its pre-registration nursing programme.
Director of nursing Paul Moore, and adult nurse lecturer Niall Quayle, told Manx Radio they hope the event will inspire people to consider a career with Manx Care:
