Quarter of teaching staff absent from St Ninian's High School

Further disruption to learning

St Ninian's High School says it cannot 'safely accommodate' all students in the school due to staff absences.

A quarter of teachers are off along with a 'significant number' of support workers.

Today parents have been warned of further disruption to their children's learning next week.

Year 10 pupils are being asked to stay at home on Monday and Wednesday with Year 9 told not to come to school on Tuesday.

The head teacher says the situation will be reviewed early next week.
