Result won't alter Manx Brexit efforts - CM
Less than a year after being appointed Prime Minister, Theresa May has announced there will be a UK general election in June.
Theresa May had previously said she didn't want another vote until 2020 but has now 'reluctantly' changed her mind - because of the challenges of the UK's exit from the EU.
Closer to home, the chief minister says the timing of a UK general election will surprise many.
But he believes the decision could prove a masterstroke if the polls back her on June 8.
Howard Quayle says regardless of the result, the Manx government will continue to work with whoever is in power in Westminster.
