Queen Elizabeth II contracts Covid-19

Her Majesty is expected to continue light duties

Royal officials have confirmed Her Majesty the Queen, Lord of Mann has contracted Covid-19.

Buckingham Palace says Her Majesty is experiencing 'mild cold-like symptoms', and is expected to continue light duties at Windsor this week.

It's understood she's triple vaccinated.

Britain's longest-reigning monarch reached her historic Platinum Jubilee of 70 years on the throne just a few weeks ago.
