DEFA minister says Douglas east focus is best for fishing industry
Concentrating on the east coast of Douglas is the best option for the fishing industry, and it gives way to more science.
That from the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot.
It comes after DEFA made the decision to restrict queenie fishing to the one area of the Island's waters.
Mr Boot says this will enable them to look ahead more sustainably:
Rolling delays see Manxman sailings cancelled
Assisted dying bill receiving 'due attention it deserves' in UK
Faulty device believed to have triggered multi-agency search effort
Payroll firm reprimanded after thousands of personal records discovered in abandoned shredding bins
