Symbolic tour continues
The Queen's Baton has arrived in Laxey.
Baton bearers are carrying it across the Island over two days as part of its symbolic tour of Commonwealth nations before next year’s Commonwealth Games in Australia.
That will include trips to the top of Snaefell, the horse tram and a kipper factory.
This morning it was greeted by sports people of all ages and members of the public touring the facilities at the National Sports Centre in Douglas.
Michelle Jamieson is following its progress for Manx Radio.
