Seventeen questions for answer in today's sitting

After a two-week hiatus, MHKs once again have the opportunity to put questions to the ministers of Alfred Cannan’s government.

There are 17 questions, ranging from a controversial pre-TT police video, to the expected life of the newly-refurbished nurses home.

Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas will get things going, provided a late emergency question doesn’t take precedence.

He asks about the Steam Packet’s TT sea services and whether they met demand.

Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Tim Glover inquires about the Isle of Man Constabulary's TT road safety video which, in its original form, showed fatal accidents, both in race and open roads conditions.

Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper asks about the current position of the Freedom of Information site.

Later, he asks if any government policy has changed as a direct result of the CoMin roadshows.

Onchan MHK Julie Edge wants to know more about a possible reinstatement of the Youth Justice Team, while Jason Moorhouse of Arbory, Castletown and Malew, has his attention on the wind turbine project.

There are two question's from him on that matter; one on a French court ruling over bird and bat fatalities, and another over peat removal on the proposed site. You can listen to today's House of Keys sitting live from 10am on Manx Radio AM1368, DAB, online and via the smartphone app.
