The chairman of Ramsey Commissioners says the authority needs a stronger partnership with local businesses in the town, to secure more investment in the town.
Nigel Malpass has called a meeting next month, inviting business leaders to meet commissioners and senior officers.
He says it's an opportunity for all parties to show a commitment to work together, to revitalise Ramsey and make it more attractive to residents and visitors.
The meeting's been set for August 11 and Mr Malpass says business people should come along and voice their needs and aspirations.
If the first event proves positive, it's hoped similar gatherings could be held several times a year, possibly including the public.
