Labels may not show allergens
Ramsey Bakery’s apologised after recalling a batch of cakes.
The company, based on Station Road in Ramsey, says the packs of four fruit scones don’t have a full list of ingredients on and so may not warn people about potential allergens they contain.
The scones may have gluten, eggs and milk in them - and any packs with a best before date of 19 March or earlier are now being pulled from shelves.
The company says anyone who’s bought such a pack can return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
