Juan McGuinness encouraging people to attend public accountability meeting
A Ramsey commissioner is encouraging residents to attend the first 'public accountability meeting' at the town hall.
Juan McGuinness came up with the idea following the hustings held for the Local Authority Elections in April and says it's important for residents to exercise their democratic right.
The meeting is being held next Wednesday (24 September) at 7pm and will also be live streamed on the commissioners Facebook page.
Residents can submit questions ahead of the meeting.
He added that residents shouldn't complain about elected members if they're not providing feedback and asking questions about the authority.
