Local authority says those caught will be dealt with 'robustly'
Ramsey Commissioners is asking people not to fly tip, following the news of the closure of the Northern Civic Amenity Site.
The local authority warns it will be working with its partners to deal 'robustly' with any incidents.
It's due to close on 31 March and the site will be handed back to the Department of Infrastructure.
Chair of Ramsey Commissioners Rob Cowell says he's hopeful of a resolution at some point.
It's been confirmed there may be staff redundancies as a result of the site closing at the end of next month, and the local authority is 'committed' to looking after those who are directly affected by the situation.
