A shop in Ramsey is collecting fabric to be used to make bandages for animals injured in the Australian wildfires.
The Snug on Parliament Street is accepting donations until 17 January.
The store is also organising sewing workshops to make bandages, and has shared details of patterns and instructions on social media for those who can sew or crochet.
It follows an appeal by an Australian woman now based in Carlisle for any flannel, cotton or soft fabric to help treat the wounds sustained by koalas, kangaroos and other animals.
