Hundreds expected for fan favourite
A true TT fixture is set to get underway this morning (Tue).
The annual Ramsey Sprint, promoted by Straightline Events, takes place along the town's promenade from 10.30am.
The annual spectacle, which allows anyone with a motorcycle to simply turn up and race on the day, has been running for almost forty years.
Organisers say a practice session on Mad Sunday saw a string of riders join the elusive 'five second club', with competitor Phil Wood coming with a fraction of a second of the course record.
Registration for riders is at 9.30am.
