Expol investigation finds no evidence of concocted correspondance
An investigation has found no evidence the Department of Health and Social Care faked documents for an employment tribunal looking into the dismissal of the Island’s former medical director.
Simon Devonshire KC, representing the government, has told a remedy hearing that there was no substance to suggest three documents had been concocted.
The DHSC hired private investigators Expol to look into the issue after Dr Rosalind Ranson’s legal team expressed concern over the authenticity of some correspondence submitted to last year’s tribunal.
