A 51-year-old Douglas man charged with raping a woman at the weekend has been granted bail, with strict conditions.
John Josepeh O'Brien, of Colden Road, had to pay £20,000 into the court by close of business on Tuesday.
Deputy High Bailiff Alastair Montgomerie ordered the defendant to be tagged, observe a 9pm to 7am curfew, and report daily to Police Headquarters.
He has also been told not to contact prosecution witnesses by any means.
Mr O'Brien's next appearance will be on May 11.
