Malew ratepayers will have to find nearly two per cent extra for village services this year.
The commissioners have confirmed there’ll be an increase of one point nine per cent for the next financial year from April.
However, local authority officials say it should cost the average ratepayer no more than £5 per year.

It will also help meet increased energy costs.
