Senior Regional Officer holding talks on Island
The Royal College of Nursing says the earliest date staff employed by Manx Care could take strike action would be 3 July.
The Union is to ballot its Isle of Man membership between 1 and 21 June over their willingness to breach employment contracts and withdraw their labour, in a dispute over pay.
The union's Senior Regional Officer for the Isle of Man, Mary-Anne Parkinson, is on the Island today to hold talks with Police and Douglas Borough Council to establish the guidelines for any potential marches or protest gatherings.
Ms Parkinson is also requesting talks with both the Health and Treasury Ministers on 12 June.
Manx Care has been approached for comment.
