Seven per cent increase on last year
The Steam Packet says it handled a record number of bookings when reservations for TT 2017 opened on Bank Holiday Monday.
More than 3,500 bookings were taken between 8.30am and 6.30pm.
That's a seven per cent increase on last year's opening day, according to the Steam Packet, which was the previous record high.
The bookings taken are for more than 9,700 passengers and 4,755 motorcycles.
