Organisation welcomes revised proposals
The President of the Chamber of Commerce believes a government U-turn, scaling back the increase in the minimum wage will be 'positive across the board'.
Claire Watterson says the original near-10 percent rise risked putting employers out of business, and employees out of work.
In Tynwald, Onchan MHK Julie Edge had proposed a five percent increase instead which the chief minister accepted, albeit with some changes.
Here's Ms Watterson talking to Christian Jones from earlier today:
Sailings cancelled due to predicted gales
Have your say on the future of the Island's plantations
Warning for 'disorderly' parents attending schools
Yellow weather warning for gale force winds
