There’s a chance to take part in what’s rapidly becoming one of the Island’s largest events next week.
Next Tuesday is the annual Tower of Refuge escorted walk on Douglas foreshore, which saw 3,000 people take part last year.
Organised by the Douglas Development Partnership, the event raises money for the RNLI as people put on their wellies to visit the usually isolated landmark.
The walk is open to all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult. It’s hoped the walk can start at 6pm, although that’s subject to weather and tides.
