"Vast majority" of appointments retained
NHS dental services at Hillside Dental Clinic will now be provided by Regent Dental Care, completing the transition from Ravat and Ray.
The Department of Health and Social Care has confirmed contract commenced from the start of April, and says patients can expect to hear from Regent in 'good time' to arrange appointments.
The new provider currently runs an NHS dental practice in Peel, and offers orthodontic services in Douglas.
It's clinical director, Dr Andre Vogelzang, says Regent 'will retain the vast majority of appointments already booked with Ravat and Ray, and is excited to expand it's services to the Douglas area'.
