Remembering the 'swinging sixties'

A good time was had by all at the Radio Caroline reunion weekend, according to organiser Andy Wint.

Former workers from the off-shore station reunited for the first time in 40 years.

Andy says the 'Pirates of the Irish Sea' exhibition at the House of Manannan was an emotional experience (audio file attached):

Radio Caroline North, moored off Ramsey, pumped non-stop pop music from her transmitter, across the North of England and Ireland, from 1964 until the 'pirates' were forced to close four years later.
