Remembrance silence plans

The government’s appealing for people to stop what they’re doing and observe two minutes of silence next week.

The Chief Secretary’s Office says the act of remembrance will take place on Monday, November 11 at 11am.

It’s asking motorists to pull over and turn off their engines during the silence if it’s safe to do so.

The Island’s national service of remembrance will take place at the Royal Chapel in St John’s a week on Sunday, November 10.
