The pool closed for refurbishment in August last year
The National Sports Centre will feel like a 'brand new' place once renovation work on the site's swimming pool is complete.
That's the view of Paul Bridson from the Department of Education, Sport and Culture.
It was confirmed yesterday the reopening of the facility had been pushed back until June after what were described as 'unforeseen structural works'.
Mr Bridson says the project has largely gone to plan and will add to the high standard of facilities already available at the NSC:
