Police issue warning as qualifying underway on Snaefell Mountain Course
On day one of Manx Grand Prix qualifying police received reports of people not listening to marshals.
The event got underway yesterday (16 August), with roads around the Snaefell Mountain Course closed for several hours.
Marshals are positioned all around the course to ensure spectators and riders are kept safe while the motorsport action takes place.

Meanwhile, motorists are being advised to take extra care on the roads throughout the next fortnight.
Thousands flock to the Island for the motorsport event, which is currently underway alongside the Classic TT until Friday, 28 August.
